I graduated with a B.S. in journalism from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism then briefly attended Loyola University Chicago School of Law before pursuing writing full-time. 

I was born in Incheon, South Korea but moved to Tyldesley, Greater Manchester, England when I was four and lived there for about five years before eventually moving to the US. 

I currently live near Boston with a chubby pet chinchilla, who was the inspiration for my book. 

I am an active member of SCBWI.
